Stéphanie Domaingue, Property Executive, of Anahita: “At Anahita Beau Champ, we aim to build a rural community that offers an active and well-being-focused lifestyle, close to nature and promoting social interaction.”
The new project of Alteo’s property cluster aligns with a sustainable development philosophy and with the goals set by the United Nations. Stéphanie Domaingue presents us with this environmentally friendly approach.
What is the vision for the project?
The eastern part of Mauritius boasts unique and authentic rural landscapes shaped by nature.
Our vision for Anahita Beau Champ is to create a contemporary lifestyle where people can harmoniously coexist with this nature. Our master plan revolves around Alteo’s strategic vision pillars: SmartEst, GreenEst, and HealthiEst and our focus is on sustainable design principles that prioritise well-being. Each phase of the project will be certified accordingly.
How will be the lifestyle at Anahita Beau Champ?
At Anahita Beau Champ, we aim to build a rural community that offers an active and well-being-focused lifestyle, close to nature and promoting social interaction. At least 40% of the site will be dedicated to high-quality open spaces, interlinked by pedestrian-friendly landscaped corridors, connecting homes, workplaces, schools, and shops.
What was the strategy for the design of the outdoor spaces and the architecture?
The roads will be harmoniously shared by cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. The perimeter of the residential plots, adorned solely with vegetation, and the carefully selected materials for the roads and villas contribute to the project’s strong authentic identity.
Another important aspect of the project is the rehabilitation of existing buildings, such as the old sugar mill, to create new opportunities for innovation, employment, leisure, learning, and community life.
All of this will bring new vitality and regenerate a site that had lost its activity in recent years. Our priority is to preserve the rural and authentic character of the site.
