The achievement of the WELL Community pre-certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) for Anahita Beau Champ marks a significant benchmark in its development.
This distinction is not only a first in the Indian Ocean for Alteo Group’s flagship project, the developer, but also reflects a strong commitment to sustainable development in the east of Mauritius, aligned with its pillars: SmartEst, GreenEst, and HealthiEst.
Authenticity, serenity, and convenience!
Spanning 118 hectares in the east of Mauritius, Anahita Beau Champ is an extension and enrichment of the Anahita destination, in the form of a new kind of smart city. Indeed, it boasts a rural and authentic character that enables a serene living environment with services and shops to make daily life easier for its community. The residential offer of the project has been designed with the same philosophy, respecting its environment, featuring traditional Mauritian architecture as well as numerous modern touches. Residents will enjoy an environment that fosters their personal development, with ample green spaces, dedicated walking and cycling paths, top-tier sports facilities, and access to fresh, locally grown produce directly from the estate’s working farm.
A landmark project
The WELL Community pre-certification is exclusively awarded to real estate projects that adhere to international standards in health and environmental well-being. The evaluation is based on ten fundamental aspects, including air and water quality, as well as the physical and mental well-being of the residents. According to Alteo’s real estate CEO, David Martial, this pre-certification strengthens Alteo group’s vision for real estate developments. “Our vision for Anahita Beau Champ has always been to create more than just a living space. We aim to develop a community where the well-being of its inhabitants is the cornerstone of every design and planning decision. Today, we are truly proud to be the first in the region to achieve this certification. It demonstrates our total commitment to excellence and our dedication to moving the Eastern region forward and ‘Making the East an everlasting place to grow’,” he shared.
A bright future for Anahita Beau Champ
The Smart City is ready to reach its next stage: the global certification, which will be bestowed upon completion of the project. The success encountered since its launch last May also reflects the project’s appeal, as all the plots of the first residential phase have been reserved, along with nearly half of the apartments. This dynamism confirms the public’s interest in the project and indicates that the east of Mauritius is increasingly attracting families and individuals wishing to live in an environment that promotes their well-being!
